Scouting Report: Strengths
- He’s capable as a receiver, a weapon on swing passes and in the screen game.
- Goodwin accelerates 0-to-60 and hits top speed fast enough to outrun angles. He’s also flexible and agile, able to keep the pedal to the floor as Goodwin turns and weaves.
- He has very good vision and a knack for picking out cut-back lanes and then breaking offchunks of yardage.
- Has a smaller, compact build with adequate thickness throughout his frame. Confident and ambitious player who wants the ball. Has shifty footwork with the natural burst and lateral quickness to make defenders miss and turn upfield in a hurry - tough to tackle in space.
- He brings a nice blend of power and passing game skills. He has a compact build and a naturally low center of gravity, and he runs with excellent balance through traffic, allowing him to squeeze through for yardage.
- Goodwin shows suddenness off the line of scrimmage and accelerates quickly, and his top-end speed is among the best in this draft.
Scouting Report: Weaknesses
- Short and lacks the ideal powerful frame to consistently run between the tackles.
- He’ll be relegated to outside runs and is little more than a potential cut blocker in blitz pickup
- Does not always read blocks behind pulling guards. May not be big enough to move piles at the next level and has a tendency to bury his head too soon.

*Similarity Percentage: This percentage is calculated based on a comprehensive analysis of various factors, including height, weight, 40-yard dash times, on-field performance statistics, and overall player rating. The analysis is conducted against our database of draft prospects from 2021 to 2023. This similarity score helps in evaluating how closely a current prospect aligns with past prospects. It is important to note, however, that this score reflects similarities based on college production and attributes, and does not account for eventual success or performance in the NFL.
