The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Bears watched Tahj Washington slide 45 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. It holds up to a second look, which is why it earns the A-.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. A whole weekend of picks and linebacker is somehow still a want. The veteran additions, Darius Slayton chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
