The search is over. The Patriots handed the keys to Drake Maye, and the whole operation now runs on his development. The bottom line is a respectable B.

On value alone, Smith makes the weekend a net positive. The Bertrand pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Spending an early pick on TE-EDGE with edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
