The rest of the league had time to spare on Gabe Jacas; the Bears did not wait, grabbing him 47 spots ahead at pick No. 204. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A- to cap it.

The Delane steal is the beam this whole class leans on. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up.
