Somebody in pick 141 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Commanders sat still while Nate Wiggins, the No. 15 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Fine in stretches, shaky in others: a C.

Caleb Williams gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. The Stover pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with wide receiver, tight end and other spots still on the board. They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

In the end, a coin-flip class: fine today, with a wide range of outcomes ahead.
