You can hear the double-takes from here. The Vikings took Ryan Watts at No. 190, roughly 65 spots before his name belonged. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.
They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.
The Jackson pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher, safety and other spots still on the board.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 13th pick they get a lockdown presence outside at fair value. Need was not the driver here.
