The Cowboys answered their biggest question with Sanders. Grade: D.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Cowboys shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.

Shedeur Sanders is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Walker. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, tight end very much included.

In pick 4 they get their guy under center for the next decade. A real need, handled.
Pick30 Rnd1 Deone Walker
In the Round 1 slot they get a pocket-collapsing interior rusher, outstanding value to boot. A clean fit for the roster.

Tory Horton at the 62nd overall pick is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
