The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Cowboys watched Dwight McGlothern slide 55 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B+.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. The cost of the Byrd reach is exactly the players who went right after him. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
