The search is over. The Raiders handed the keys to J.J. McCarthy, and the whole operation now runs on his development.
McCarthy has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
Gray falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.
