A masterclass at the trade table lands the Bears a B.

The real work happened on the phones. The Bears fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. That Hart pick is the receipt they will wave around later. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

Fisher has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
