Jennings should have been long gone. The Bears pounced, and earned a B.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Kevin Jennings tumbling to the Bears in pick No. 241 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

The cost of the Briningstool reach is exactly the players who went right after him. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
