The Commanders bet the future on Williams. The board says B+.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Commanders spent their marquee pick on Caleb Williams, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. Reaching for Wiley left real value on the table behind him. That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
