The Cowboys found their guy under center in Daniels: D.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Cowboys shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. A D that will need time and luck to look better.

So much rides on Jayden Daniels that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through tight end.

They are betting Hall Jr. proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Devonshire at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
