Minnesota Vikings
A masterclass at the trade table lands the Vikings a B+.

If you want a masterclass in dealing, watch the Vikings, who turned every swap into a profit this weekend. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.
Reaching for Raym left real value on the table behind him. Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
Pick-by-Pick
Chop Robinson in pick No. 36 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
They took Byron Murphy II at par in pick 40, which is nothing to complain about. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
A market-rate cornerback, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Kalen King. A minor need, but a need all the same.
The board had Spencer Rattler higher than No. 102, and the quarterback fell to them anyway. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Marshawn Kneeland at the 108th overall pick is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
No drama and no debate, Cedric Gray went about where he belonged in slot 130. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
The board had cheaper options than LaDarius Henderson at Round 5, Pick 12, and it noticed. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Andrew Raym. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Kitan Oladapo at slot 166 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the safety. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
A straight-up fair deal on Javon Baker at Round 6, Pick 4, value and slot in agreement. A need, and now a little less of one.
Zion Logue at pick No. 230 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
