Daniels is the Patriots' new face under center. Grade: A-.

The search is over. The Patriots handed the keys to Jayden Daniels, and the whole operation now runs on his development. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Reaching for Kamara left real value on the table behind him.

That McLachlan pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped safety, which is a strange place to end up.

Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
