The 49ers cashed the board's mistake on Fitzgerald: B.

The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Ryan Fitzgerald, pick 226, roughly 119 picks past where he belonged. No fireworks, but a solid B.

Brown has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
