The Commanders found their guy under center in Maye: A.

Start where it matters. The Commanders took Drake Maye to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A to cap it.

The cost of the Turner reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through running back. That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
