The Commanders finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B.

Start where it matters. The Commanders took Jayden Daniels to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

On value alone, White makes the weekend a net positive. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.

In the 4th overall pick they get their guy under center for the next decade. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick36 Rnd2 Graham Barton
Nice patience on Graham Barton, who had no business lasting to pick 36. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick37 Rnd2 Josh Newton
They paid sticker price for Josh Newton in the 37th pick, and that is fine. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick68 Rnd3 Denzel Burke
Denzel Burke in slot 68 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick100 Rnd3 Luke Lachey
By-the-book stuff, Luke Lachey at Round 3, Pick 37 squarely in line with his ranking. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.

Marshawn Kneeland at pick No. 104 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
