The Bears answered their biggest question with Daniels. Grade: D.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Bears shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. The process wobbled, and the D is where it lands.

So much rides on Jayden Daniels that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. The Hicks pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman, cornerback and other spots still on the board.

That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They will need Robinson to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
