Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Jack Kiser at the 71st overall pick is 130 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. The final tally is a middling C+.
So much rides on Conner Weigman that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want.
They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
The verdict is a shrug for now, with the swing picks left to write the real ending.
