The board owed the Packers one, and it paid up: Trey Benson, the No. 58 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 3 slot like a gift left on the doorstep. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The cost of the Walker reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
