The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Commanders watched Kamal Hadden slide 85 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

So much rides on Caleb Williams that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. The Commanders indulged a want in Solomon while a need in tight end and interior defensive lineman stayed open.

They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.
