There is reaching, and then there is Kimani Vidal at pick 218. The Eagles jumped the board by 35 and dared it to prove them wrong. Too much went sideways, and the D+ is the honest tally.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
