Start where it matters. The Patriots took Drake Maye to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. The Patriots indulged a want in King while a need in edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots stayed open.

The James value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
