The board owed the Patriots one, and it paid up: Cobee Bryant, the No. 157 name on the board, sitting there at the 194th overall pick like a gift left on the doorstep. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain. They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
