You build a draft on nights like this. Daequan Hardy had no business being available in Round 7, Pick 14, and the Bears did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

If Hartman pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
