Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Braden Fiske at Round 2, Pick 10 is 28 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.
They punted on safety, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Jackson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but safety.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 11 they get a double-digit-sack hope at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Braden Fiske. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
They liked Spencer Rattler enough to skip the value, taking him in the 109th pick. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Josh Newton in pick No. 130 lands just on the right side of the ledger. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Luke McCaffrey at the Round 5 slot jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. A need, and now a little less of one.
Layden Robinson at slot 166 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Ty'Ron Hopper at Round 6, Pick 4 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the linebacker. It adds depth where they could use a little.
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Jha'Quan Jackson in pick 190. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
