When the story of this class is written, it opens with John Emery Jr. at No. 248, a reach of 182 spots that the board flatly disagrees with. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. Spending an early pick on cornerback with interior defensive lineman open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.
