The 49ers let King fall into their laps, and walked away with a B-.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The 49ers watched Kalen King slide 72 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

The Travis pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
