Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Bears came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.

The Solomon pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at interior defensive lineman, linebacker and other spots. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. They banked enough surplus on Lloyd to cover a lot of smaller sins.

In short, they turned a good board into a better roster, and it shows.
