The 49ers did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Nehemiah Pritchett fell into the 176th overall pick.

A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want. Reaching for Gore Jr. left real value on the table behind him.

Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
