B-
Arizona Cardinals
A sensible, unshowy class lands the Cardinals a B-.

· 6 picks
· 0 steals
· 2 reaches
The Cardinals looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Tommy Eichenberg at the 67th overall pick regardless, 41 picks early. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.
They will regret leaving offensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 3 they get a disruptor off the edge at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
In the Round 1 slot they get a true top target. The biggest hole, addressed.
Edgerrin Cooper at No. 35 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Tommy Eichenberg in the 67th overall pick is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Byron Murphy II at pick 73 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the interior defensive lineman. It fills a real need, too.
Spencer Rattler in Round 3, Pick 17 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
