The Bears finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a D-.

The Bears lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again.

Caleb Williams gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. It is not that Solomon is a bad player; it is that the Bears had louder needs to answer first. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The cost of the Van Pran reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Landing Hicks that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
