Give the war room a raise for the dealing alone. The Patriots came out ahead on every exchange that mattered, and it was not close.

Spending an early pick on cornerback with edge rusher, safety and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. Rice at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Bottom line, with Olumuyiwa Fashanu leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
