Draft Grade — Bears
Overall A-
ValueB NeedB TradesA+ FutureA+
The Bears won the weekend at the trade table. Grade: A-.

Whoever sat across the table from the Bears should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. Every board in the league had Sinnott lower, and that gap is the story. Fautanu falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

Few war rooms will sleep better than this one tonight.

Pick Analysis
Pick9 Rnd1 Rome Odunze
In the 9th overall pick they get a matchup problem out wide. A real need, handled.
Pick42 Rnd2 Troy Fautanu
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Troy Fautanu at the Round 2 slot is the proof. It fills a real need, too.
Pick43 Rnd2 Jonathon Brooks
By-the-book stuff, Jonathon Brooks at Round 2, Pick 11 squarely in line with his ranking. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick75 Rnd3 Devontez Walker
A tidy bit of business in No. 75, where Devontez Walker graded well above the range. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick111 Rnd4 Ben Sinnott
Value said wait; Ben Sinnott in pick No. 111 says they were not listening. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick123 Rnd4 Andru Phillips
Nothing to complain about; Andru Phillips went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick143 Rnd5 Roger Rosengarten
Roger Rosengarten in pick 143 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
