Quarterback settled, Daniels in the fold, and a A- for the Patriots. The Patriots spent the pick that matters most on Jayden Daniels, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A-.
Getting Wilson where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend.
They will need Greenfield to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.
In the end it comes back to Jayden Daniels, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
