The Bears treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending the Round 4 slot on Hunter Nourzad a full 30 spots early. Hard to defend, and the D reflects that.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Caleb Williams is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off.

They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They banked enough surplus on Dixon to cover a lot of smaller sins.
