The rest of the league had time to spare on Javon Foster; the Bears did not wait, grabbing him 53 spots ahead at the 75th pick.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Adding Micah Parsons by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
