Whoever sat across the table from the Bears should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.

The cost of the Powers-Johnson reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Rice.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
