The Bears lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again.

Jayden Daniels gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Reaching for Murphy left real value on the table behind him.

Getting Smith where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and interior defensive lineman is still a hole.
