A franchise passer in Williams headlines a A- weekend for the Bears.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Bears reached some 79 spots for Tip Reiman, and value like that does not grow back. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.

Caleb Williams is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.

The Bears indulged a want in Solomon while a need in interior defensive lineman, running back and other spots stayed open. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

In the end it comes back to Caleb Williams, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
