Grand theft in the 124th pick: the 49ers steal Phillips and grade out a D-.

The phones were a trap the 49ers kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. Put together, it is a D-.

Spending an early pick on cornerback with interior defensive lineman and quarterback open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The Knox reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Phillips falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and interior defensive lineman is still a hole.
