The Steelers fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B+.

If you want a masterclass in dealing, watch the Steelers, who turned every swap into a profit this weekend. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. However the rest shakes out, Tuimoloau at that price is a win they earned.

It is not that Mahogany is a bad player; it is that the Steelers had louder needs to answer first. The cost of the Melton reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
