The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Brenden Rice, the 137th pick, roughly 54 picks past where he belonged. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

The Gray pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The Melton pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
