The Cowboys cashed the board's mistake on James: B.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Jordan James tumbling to the Cowboys in the Round 4 slot is a gift they did not have to think twice about. No fireworks, but a solid B.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work. They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
