Baker should have been long gone. The Commanders pounced, and earned a A-. Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Javon Baker got past him. The Commanders do not have to explain a thing at the 220th pick.
The cost of the Wiley reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They will answer for taking OLB-EDGE early while quarterback and interior defensive lineman went begging.
A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.
Bottom line, with JC Latham leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
