It is the swing that defines the weekend: Matthew Jones in the Round 6 slot, a good 32 spots before the room expected him. Put together, it is a D.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. That Allen pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
