Draft Grade — Bears
Overall

FutureB-
The Bears answered their biggest question with Nix. Grade: B. Start where it matters. The Bears took Bo Nix to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.
They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
However the rest shakes out, Guyton at that price is a win they earned. Dre'Mont Jones gives the group a proven body among the projects.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
Pick Analysis
Pick16
Rnd1
Bo Nix
A straight-up fair deal on Bo Nix at pick No. 16, value and slot in agreement. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick26
Rnd1
Jordan Morgan
In the 26th pick they get a cornerstone up front. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick58
Rnd2
Tyler Guyton
Value with a capital V on Tyler Guyton in Round 2, Pick 26, a genuine coup. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick75
Rnd3
Ricky Pearsall
By-the-book stuff, Ricky Pearsall at the Round 3 slot squarely in line with his ranking. The roster fit checks out.
Pick89
Rnd3
Mike Sainristil
Nothing to complain about; Mike Sainristil went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick110
Rnd4
Nelson Ceaser
Nelson Ceaser in No. 110 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick122
Rnd4
Jarrian Jones
Jarrian Jones in pick 122 is fair value, right on his grade. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick126
Rnd4
Malik Washington
A slide stopped in the 126th overall pick, with Malik Washington worth more than the price. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick146
Rnd5
Cam Hart
Cam Hart in Round 5, Pick 10 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
