They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Bo Nix is the Bears' quarterback, full stop.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Every board in the league had Benson lower, and that gap is the story. The linebacker spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

They banked enough surplus on Thomas Jr. to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Bo Nix and all.
