Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Barryn Sorrell at the 148th pick is 135 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. Shedeur Sanders is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. That Stutsman pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

The verdict is harsh because the weekend was, and there is little to argue.
